Whether it is a game of frescobol on the shoreline of Rio de Janeiro or an espresso shared among friends, we are drawn to the moments that punctuate the day and bring people together. It is this appreciation for craft and slow leisure that forms the foundation of our collaboration with La Marzocco: a celebration of the morning ritual.

Meticulously co-designed with La Marzocco, the limited-edition Linea Mini Espresso Machine brings together a shared commitment to craftsmanship. Hand-built in Officine Fratelli Bambi, La Marzocco's renowned Florentine workshop, the machine combines Italian engineering expertise with the materiality and design language that define FRESCOBOL CARIOCA.

The story begins with our namesake frescobol bat. Crafted from sustainably sourced wood offcuts from the Brazilian furniture industry, each bat is shaped by hand, revealing the unique grain and character of the timber beneath. This artisanal approach directly informed the creation of the Linea Mini: every walnut panel is individually hand-cut and hand-sanded, allowing the natural beauty of the wood to remain visible and ensuring that no two machines are exactly alike.

Throughout the design, the machine incorporates subtle references to Rio de Janeiro and its iconic coastline. The flowing lines of the calçadão promenade and the rhythm of Atlantic waves are echoed across the machine's wooden fascia panels and custom metalwork. Undulating grilles, co-branded controls and sculptural detailing soften the industrial precision of La Marzocco's iconic stainless-steel silhouette, creating a dialogue between engineering and artistry.Finished in FRESCOBOL CARIOCA's signature Leather Brown, a rich matte tone inspired by Brazilian coffee culture, the Linea Mini is both a functional object and a collector's piece. In an homage to considered craftsmanship, the Linea Mini is an expression of enduring design, crafted to effortlessly merge into one of those everyday joys.
