Describe your London day in three stops?

1. After the school drop off, I make the most of being in the area and do a loop of Hampstead Heath with my Jack Russell Terrier, Zumi.

2. Cycle into the office in Notting Hill (I personally much prefer being in the office than working from home).

3. Evening slots at Absolute Studios Pilates in Queen's Park; I find being present, listening and following the instructor to be very soothing.

What’s one habit or ritual from Rio that has quietly made its way into your everyday London life?

Brazilians are huge coffee drinkers, at any time of the day when you visit someone or walk into a meeting you are offered a cafezinho before even a water - my first meeting of the day is typically a "walk and talk" with my partner with a coffee in hand.

How would you describe your personal style in three words?

Simple, comfortable, but always versatile.

What's your most irrational style rule?

Despite loving it, I'm not the best runner, and somehow (irrationally) I think that regularly buying new running shoes might fix that!

What, to you, is ultimate proof of a good pair of jeans?

I’ve always gravitated towards clothes that feel easy and light - usually slacks, or linen when the weather allows. We wanted to create denim that you could reach for in the same way: something with the character of a jean, but with a softness and flexibility that lets you move freely.

What does ‘moving freely’ mean to you?

Once you are dressed, not needing to think again about what you are wearing through the day.

Where are you heading after this? 

Heading to Panella for a working lunch with the Wholesale team - the Carbonara is so good it competes with the best in Rome!
